INGREDIENTS
- 2 pears
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- Dash of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup The Toasted Oat Macadamia Chunk soft granola
- 4 scoops vanilla bean ice cream [your choice!]
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Lay parchment paper on a baking sheet.
Cut pears in half, then cut a small sliver off the outside of the pear so they sit flat when placed upright on the baking sheet.
Using a spoon, scoop out the core & seeds. Arrange pears face-up on the baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk the maple syrup, vanilla & cinnamon. Drizzle onto each pear, reserving about 1 tbsp. for after the pears are finished baking.
Bake pears for about 25 minutes, until soft & lightly browned on the edges. Remove from the oven & immediately drizzle with remaining maple syrup mixture.
While warm, scoop ice cream onto pears. Top with The Toasted Oat Macadamia Chunk soft granola & a caramel drizzle, if desired.
