GLUTEN-FREE PUMPKIN HUMMUS RECIPE
Made from chickpeas & spices, hummus is a classic Middle Eastern & Mediterranean dish. This fall, The Toasted Oat Bakehouse brings you pumpkin hummus, a gluten-free version that combines fall flavors for a savory snack or appetizer.
Top with our Macadamia Chunk soft granola for burst of texture filled with soft oats, cinnamon, molasses & vanilla.
Pumpkin Hummus

INGREDIENTS
HUMMUS
- 14 oz. chickpeas, drained & rinsed
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 tbsp. tahini
- 2 cloves garlic
- Juice from 1 lemon, about 2 tbsp.
- 1 1/2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
TOPPING
- Small handful pumpkin seeds
- Small handful The Toasted Oat Macadamia Chunk soft granola
- Splash of extra virgin olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS

Drain & rinse chickpeas, juice the lemon & purée all hummus ingredients in food processor.

Top with a splash of olive oil, The Toasted Oat Macadamia Chunk soft granola & pumpkin seeds.

Serve with gluten-free pita chips, pita, vegetables or gluten-free crackers.
